For staff members, that journey looks like this:

The exterior building signage with the company’s logo, that was designed me. As you entered the premises, you noticed how the company is expanding with the construction of a new wing, there’s branded signs showing their OHSE compliance on their site, and also offerign the construction workers general guidance on safety, also me.

You enter the building and in the reception area you notice the massive curved wall banner with the logo and company tag line, the notice at the entrance security door reminding you to wait for the green light before tapping your access card, also, all me.

You know you have to make your way to a specific baordroom, thank fully there's signage telling you which boardroom is which, also me. You know where to sit as your name tag is on your desk, ooh, and there’s a  custom gift box! Whe you tak ea break, the signs guiding you to the restroom or coffee station, the safety induction document you signed, the office posters, the decorative privacy vinyls on the boardroom glass, yes, even the branding on the recycling bin in the corner. The full-wall murals in the office,  the personalized welcome video, the branded visuals in SharePoint? The visual welcome flyer? That was me. Your access card,  All me.

But let’s rewind.

It probably started when you saw the job posting on social media and visited the company’s social page, yep, that was me too. The website you checked for more info? Also me.

Some elements were informative. Some were directional. Some offered safety guidance. Some made you feel seen because they were personalized or spoke to a need.

Other parts of your journey? The legal documents on letterhead with your contract terms, your personalized email signature, the branded water bottles, even the custom napkins with witty wording for the welcome snack platter at your first meeting (the ones that made you smile)?
